“I believe that life is made up of a series of moments and events that evolve and shape us into the people we become. Similarly my paintings are shaped by an application of brush strokes and colour that reflect my energy and mood at the time and the end result becomes my finished work.
I never try to predetermine the outcome of my painting, rather I choose to celebrate the creative process and believe that my work takes on a life of its own and respect and concede to this natural evolution. “ -Melissa Beaulieu
